Function:

Transducers Ac Current in the rugged CTC or CTD Series.

The CTC and CTD units provide isolated dc outputs directly proportional to ac window current. We derive the output from the input’s average absolute value and calibrate it to the RMS value of an input sine wave. Full-scale input ranges from
5A to 2000A are available. The measured line powers all units, except for those with 4-20 mA outputs.

These rugged high quality units are cUL approved, (except for CTC D-case and CTD 5V/10V output models).

Transducers Ac Current CTC or CTD series accurately convert a sinusoidal ac input to a proportional dc current. The high performance integrated circuit amplifiers achieve a contestant current output, insensitive to a variable impedance load. This allows the CTC or CTD to be easily applied to remote instrumentation, motor control, and energy management installations.
