Saxon Hour Meters

Crompton Instruments durable range of Saxon Hour Meters. Available in either Size 2 1⁄2″ (Model 012) or 3 1⁄2″ (Model 013). Saxon Hour Meters are elapsed time meters (ETM) offering high quality IP54 protection, designed to perform in demanding environments.

Units incorporate high quality rugged Pivot and Jewel mechanisms, with superior high accuracy, 0.15 % for 50 Hz or 60 Hz center frequency. Units are non-resettable to avoid possible tampering and comply with ANSI C39.1(IEC 51). Units measure 99999.99 hours, and offer cRUus approval number E203000.

Typical applications include building management, control panels, distribution systems, energy management, generator sets, motor control, process control, switchgear, and utility power monitoring.

Advantages of electromechanical counters are easy installation, and are non resettable to avoid tampering and accidental erasing of hours elapsed.. Models have only two terminals for connection and easy set up. There are no configuration settings or setup menus to complicate the installation. Electromechanical units do not require external power.
